I was converted to Christ at the age of 20 in 2007. From the beginning of my Christian walk, I have been engaging unbelievers with the gospel. Initially trained via the Way of the Master Evangelism Course in 2007, I further developed my biblical approach via study, discipleship, and numerous outreaches. Some of my main influences in Christian ministry and theology are R.C. Sproul, Richard Stevens, Charles Spurgeon, Sye Ten Bruggencate, Kenneth Gentry, Greg Bahnsen, and Doug Wilson.

I earned the M.A. degree in Literature from Clarks Summit University (a Christian institution located in northeastern Pennsylvania). I am one year away from completing a seminary degree in Biblical Apologetics from Baptist Bible Seminary. I earned the B.A. degree in History from Ashford University. I served four years in the U.S. Air Force (2011-2015). I currenty live in eastern Pennsylvania with my wife and four children. I am seeking to plant a reformed, postmillennial church. You can find more about my ministry at http://chrishumepef.dudaone.com. My articles are occassioanly featured on Dr. Ken Gentry’s website: http://www.PostmillennialismToday.com.

I named this blog Gliocas, which means “wisdom” in Scottish Gaelic. The Bible says that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).  Understanding God in truth is essential to being truly wise. But the fear of God (which is vital) is just the beginning of wisdom.  Jesus Christ, the wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24), is the the only way to true wisdom and knowledge of God.  Having an accurate view of Jesus Christ and, in turn, the world which he created, is vital to having wisdom and living the “good life.”
